At our center, our mental health professionals play a vital role in helping individuals manage panic, health anxiety, and persistent fears surrounding physical symptoms. We provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, individualized treatment, evidence-based psychological therapy, and ongoing support to help individuals regain confidence, restore daily functioning, and develop healthier patterns of coping.

Each treatment plan is thoughtfully designed around the client’s unique experiences, goals, and emotional needs. By combining clinical expertise with a human-centered approach, therapy becomes a safe space for healing and transformation.

01. Mental Challenge

The patient, a 26-year-old man working in a local market, presented after a prolonged period of severe anxiety, repeated medical consultations, and increasing disruption to his daily life. He had developed an intense fear of serious illness, with minor physical sensations quickly triggering catastrophic concerns about his health.

He experienced stomach and bowel discomfort, chest pain, and headaches, leading to repeated evaluations by cardiology, neurology, and internal medicine. Despite generally reassuring investigations, his fears persisted. His anxiety eventually became severe enough that he was afraid to leave home alone and relied on family members for reassurance and safety. His sleep, appetite, weight, work, and overall functioning were significantly affected.

Following a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation at our center, her presentation at that stage was considered more consistent with an acute psychotic episode accompanied by symptoms of anxiety and depression.

02. Care Approach

An individualized treatment plan was developed to address both his panic symptoms and the cycle of fear, bodily monitoring, catastrophic thinking, and reassurance-seeking.
